Google CEO Sundar Pichai congratulated Donald Trump on his projected 2024 presidential victory.

He called it a "golden age of American innovation." Pichai posted this message on X (formerly Twitter). He expressed hope for the future of technology under Trump’s leadership.

Pichai said Google was ready to work with the new administration. He wants to help advance technological progress in the U.S.

Pichai's message said: "Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump on his decisive victory.

We are in a golden age of American innovation and are committed to working with his administration to help bring the benefits to everyone.”*

Google has faced political scrutiny in the past. The company seems to be positioning itself as an ally to Trump’s administration.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk responded to Pichai’s post. Musk simply said “Cool.”

Musk is a supporter of Trump’s 2024 campaign. He has previously said the election result was a "crystal clear mandate for change."

Other tech leaders also congratulated Trump. Apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman all sent their congratulations as well.

The relationship between Silicon Valley and Trump’s administration may be tricky. There may be tensions over issues like immigration and data privacy.

Earlier this year, Trump criticized Google on his platform, Truth Social. He called Google a "crooked, election interference machine."

Trump’s new administration will also face challenges with the growth of artificial intelligence (AI).

Tech companies are dealing with issues like AI regulation and market competition. Trump is expected to support business-friendly policies. However, it’s unclear how these policies will affect tech companies.
